William J. Mallon, M.D.

William J. Mallon, M.D. was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science in physiology from Michigan State University and his Medical Degree from Wayne State University where he graduated a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

After a one-year internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Dr. Mallon completed a three-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee. He then completed a one-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery with Ophthalmic Plastic Surgical Associates of Memphis.

Adam M. Katz M.D.

Adam M. Katz M.D. is board certified by the prestigious American Board of Ophthalmology. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Union College in New York, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, he was awarded his medical degree from Albany Medical College, NY. Dr. Katz completed his internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. After completing a three-year residency in ophthalmology at Saint Vincent’s Hospital, Manhattan, he went on to complete a one-year medical retina fellowship at NYU and a second two-year retina fellowship in Memphis with world-renowned retinal surgeon Steve Charles, MD. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Florida State University and was recently elected as President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology.  Dr. Katz has more than 20 years of clinical experience treating patients with retinal and vitreous disorders.

J. Michael Schnell, M.D.

J. Michael Schnell, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, during which time he was awarded a fellowship in radiation therapy. For his post-graduate work, Dr. Schnell completed an internship and, subsequently, a residency in ophthalmology, both at the University of Maryland Hospital. He went on to become Chief Resident before opening his private practice in St. Albans, Vermont.

Dr. Schnell is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Ophthalmology. He was affiliated with Northwestern Medical Center. At that hospital, he served as chairman of the department of surgery, president of the medical staff, and president of the board of directors. Dr. Schnell has worked with the Vermont State Medical Society, moving up to occupy the position of president, and he was the founding member and president of the Vermont Rural Health Consortium. He also has acted as chairman on the executive committee of the Vermont Health Care Review and a member of the Board of Directors for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont.

Dr. Schnell’s community activities include acting as Board and Campaign Chairman for the United Way, participating on the Board of Directors for both the Bellows Free Academy and the Collins-Perley Athletic Center, as well as being a member of the Northwestern Medical Center Golf Committee.

Sarah S. Khodadadeh, M.D.

Sarah S. Khodadadeh, M.D. was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. While obtaining her Master’s degree from Wayne State University, Dr. Khodadadeh designed research tools to investigate environmental factors on breast cancer and diabetes.  She then received her Medical Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

After a one-year internship where she served as chief resident at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan, Dr. Khodadadeh went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital. She practiced in the Midwest before returning to academics at Yale University where she served as a clinical instructor and completed her glaucoma fellowship.

Dr. Khodadadeh nationally represents the division of Glaucoma for the American Academy of Ophthalmology Self-Assessment Committee and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Khodadadeh treats patients as a comprehensive ophthalmologist and as a glaucoma specialist, implementing the latest medical and surgical techniques.

Edward S. Branigan III, M.D.

Edward S. Branigan III, M.D., is board certified by the prestigious American Board of Ophthalmology.  He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, and then graduated from Downstate Medical Center.  Following an internal medicine internship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Branigan served as a flight surgeon at Patrick Air Force Base.  He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia.  Dr. Branigan has been practicing ophthalmology in Vero Beach for more than 30 years.  His stellar reputation in the community speaks for itself.
